Emily Chloe Quinn and her band perform original music from her recent EP release,Ā My Own Mountain, and more. Guest performers will include members of Cheer-Accident and the Conduit of Humanity. Emily's skillful songwriting is expressed through intricate piano stylings and a delicate but engaging voice that will capture your heart. You will also hear entrancing music from members of the avant-garde, eclectic and post-modern pop-rock band, Cheer-Accident, and of the collaborative music group, Conduit of Humanity. Emily's EP was listed among the recommended listening in New City Music's February 17th issue with an article titled,Ā Sly Subjugation: A Review of Emily Chloe Quinn's My Own Mountain.Ā Some quotes: "It's subtle and direct and absolutely whip-smart," "it grips you by degrees; this record is a masterclass in sly subjugation."
Emily Chloe Quinn bio:Emily Chloe Quinn has been playing her original music in the Chicago area since 2015. Previously, she was in the band "Dramaglider" and currently collaborates in various music projects, like "Modern Wing" and writing for commercial sync licensing opportunities on a contractual basis. In 2022, she put together a band to perform her original music; a singer-songwriter at heart, from childhood. She has a Master's degree from the University of Cincinnati-Conservatory of Music in Oboe Performance. Her recent EP, "My Own Mountain," released in 2022, was reviewed by New City Music in the February 17th issue titledĀ Sly Subjugation: A Review of Emily Chloe Quinn's My Own Mountain.Ā Some notable quotes include: "It's subtle and direct and absolutely whip-smart," "it grips you by degrees; this record is a masterclass in sly subjugation."
Here is a bio forĀ Cheer-Accident's Thymme Jones, who will also be playing with Jeff Liebersher, guitar, trumpet, vocals, fellow member of Cheer-Accident:
ThymmeĀ (pronouncedĀ Tim)Ā JonesĀ is the drummer for theĀ Chicago, Illinois-based bandĀ Cheer-Accident. Jones frequently appears on the localĀ public-access televisionĀ cable TVĀ programĀ Cool Clown Ground. He has appeared on a number ofĀ Bobby ConnĀ albums, playing drums on Conn's biggest hit "Never Get Ahead", as well as trumpet, piano and moog synthesizer on Conn's later albumsĀ Rise Up!Ā andĀ The Golden Age. Before Cheer-Accident, Thymme played with the groupsĀ Brise-GlaceĀ and Dot Dot Dot, the latter of which also included Jef Bek, Chris Block and Ross Feller. He plays drums, piano and trumpet onĀ Smog's 1997 recordĀ Red Apple Falls. He has also released several solo projects.[1]Ā In the 2000s (decade) he collaborated withĀ Panicsville.
Conduit of Humanity:
Led by Fred Jeske, Conduit of Humanity is a group of established and upcoming musicians who come together to collaborate, perform and record music of the prog/rock/pop genre. Their most recent release, "Siren Songs from Another World" features musicians such as Candice Latimer, Thymme Jones and Jeff Libersher, Kevin Bushman, James Butler, Lexi Stern, Joe Maydak, and others. Their first album, Equality, was produced by Jordon Zadorozny and was released in September of 2020.
