About: 

MPKB is a Neo-Soul/Pop duo based in Chicago. The duo consists of Jazz Fusion Pianist/Producer Miles Pretel, and R&B Singer/Songwriter Kacie Brown. 

 The two artists currently study music at Columbia College Chicago, which is how their duo was initially formed. 

You can catch these two performing around the city, in places like the Blackstone Hotel, and Book Club. 

The two have also performed with seasoned Artists such as Woody Goss of Vulfpeck, Morris Hayes of Prince’s NPG, and Grammy Award winning, Jonathan McReynolds. 

MPKB’s major influences are Isaiah Sharkey, Robert Glasper, and Erykah Badu
