About: 

Born and raised in Chicago, Ashley Laschelle began building her resume early while listening to the soulful oldies played by her parents. She began vocal training for jazz performance, singing in All City Youth and High School Choruses, and was recognized as the first African-American to sing a solo at the Burnaby Lyric Opera in British Columbia, Canada. To enhance her talent and make continuous steps toward fulfilling her dream of becoming an internationally appreciated voice, she continued her education at Columbia College Chicago, where she obtained a Bachelor's in Vocal Jazz Performance.
 
After releasing two projects, doing numerous features with her peers, and touring, Laschelle began working on her third album. To the delight of her fans, Ashley began releasing new music again in 2021. In May 2023, almost a decade after releasing the Letting Go album, Ashley released her latest project, Beautiful, another introspective piece meant to simultaneously inspire and encourage women. Ashley is returning to the stage for her first headlining show in several years at the Epiphany Center for the Arts to present The Beautiful Experience, a night of positive R&B music celebrating classic music of old as well as her own catalog. Joined by fellow Reflective Music Group artist TY Renée, the evening promises to be an amazing homecoming for Ashley Laschelle and lovers of music, young and old.
