Slugg:
Mateo Acosta, known by his artist name Slugg, is a highly talented DJ and producer who started his music journey at the young age of 15. With 90’s hip hop as a major influence in his music, Slugg’s style is a masterful fusion of different elements, with each track he produces boasting a distinct flavor that sets it apart from the rest. He has a way of pulling you in and keeping you engaged with the dynamic range of sounds, making him a favorite among fans and fellow DJs alike. After moving from Miami to Orlando, he found his way into the music scene through a collective called House Keepers, where he started releasing music and booked at their events. This experience motivated him to strive for even greater heights in his music career, leading him to start his own imprint called Getbusy, with longtime friend Leo Vallejos as Label Manager. Slugg’s impressive talent and hard work have earned him the opportunity to play at major festivals like BPM, EDC Orlando, Skyline Music Festival, and Okeechobee Music Festival, as well as events hosted by major record labels, such as John Summit’s Off The Grid and Marco Carola’s Music On during Art Basel. His music has been supported by some of the biggest names in the industry, including Loco Dice, Fisher, Mason Collective, Ben Sterling, and Classmatic, among others. With his passion and dedication to his craft, you can expect to see a lot more of Slugg, and Getbusy.
SHAM:
SHAM has been DJing for the last 10 years, while also producing for 3. Originally from Detroit, he moved to Chicago in pursuit of his passion in 2019. Since then, he's played both locally in Chicago and across clubs in the United States supporting a number of tech house acts - ranging from Mochakk to Gene Farris. As last year's Groove Cruise DJ contest winner, he's also played at a few music festivals - including ARC in Chicago. His production takes influence from Latin Tech House and Minimal, while his sets include this with his high energy style to make sure the dance floor is engaged. SHAM is a high energy DJ with a love of the groovy percussive driven latin tech and deep bouncey minimal basslines
onerus:
Indiana born and Denver based brothers, onerus, are sending waves of tasteful beats and techy sweepers across the dance floor. Starting music production in 2014, their creative endeavors have spanned a variety of lanes including trap, future bass, progressive, and more. As their musical intrigue has evolved, so has their music. In recent years, Steven and Tony have lit a burning passion and firmly planted their feet in house music – where they challenge the status quo, blending their love and experience in multiple genres into their music. onerus has releases on Hood Politics Records with more on the way. When they aren’t playing out shows in Denver, these brothers have brought their live experience to other cities: Austin, Chicago, Indianapolis, and LA. There is truly something magnetizing about these two, and their contagious energy is creating a unique journey through sound for all occasions
Muffy:
Chicago based and lifelong electronic music enthusiast, Muffy (The Beat Slayer) took her passion to the decks after being empowered by the underrepresentation of women in the electronic music industry. From being immersed in the Chicago House music scene for years, Muffy's style is uplifting dance music that's layered with deep House beats and a surprising funky flavor. Muffy has gained a local following from pop-up beach sets and DJing at parties around the city. She’s recently had the opportunity to curate her own evenings and play extended sets at Celeste and Broken Shaker, as well as to provide direct support for Hannah Wants at the legendary Spybar. She's known to bring infectious energy to every set, filling the room with melodic tunes and progressive twists on nostalgic grooves that not only pique the interest of listeners, but create the perfect environment for a dynamic dance floor.
