About:
Super Creeps is a Chicago-based David Bowie tribute. With all members playing in various bands until the COVID shutdown, Super Creeps only started in July of 2020 as a means to keep sane after music venues had closed. The members really liked David Bowie, so initially the impetus was just 5 guys getting together and playing some Bowie songs. One month later, having learned a dozen tunes, Super Creeps’ first performance was literally on an apartment building rooftop, playing for 15 socially-distanced people. The response was overwhelming – people cheering and watching from other surrounding buildings and an enthusiastic crowd had gathered in the alley below. The band knew they were onto something, and seeing the impact that Bowie had on their audience, decided to make Super Creeps a more serious venture. Using the entire Bowie catalog – spanning all eras, personas, and incarnations – Super Creeps has now amassed an impressive song list of Bowie material to choose from and is ready to steamroll you with the raw power, musical dexterity, and vocal prowess of Bowie through the decades.
Rocks Off is Chicago's premier and authentic Rolling Stones tribute, delivering the music, the look, and the attitude of the World's Greatest Rock and Roll Band! Whether it’s deep album cuts or your favorite live version, Rocks Off captures the Jagger moves, Keef riffs, Charlie Watts' groove, and the blazing Mick Taylor solos from their golden era of 1968-1973, a la Ladies and Gentlemen and Brussels Affair. But let's not overlook the songs of the mid 60's that launched the Stones as rock and roll superstars; Rocks Off nails all your favorites from the Brian Jones and Ronnie Wood eras. If you want to see the next best thing to being there 50 years ago, come and see Rocks Off for yourself at Epiphany’s Main Hall!
