Darby Jack is a Birmingham, Alabama born artist whose trash-centric drawings and paintings are based on the refuse found on the sidewalks in and around Chicago, IL. Their interest in trash stems from their interest in people, and the imagined personal narratives from what material objects are left in the wake of human activity. The works in Giblets and Other Entrails represent the visual byproducts of contemplative exercises in depicting the discarded.
