About Lucas Cocker Quartet: 

While working towards his long-time academic dream of becoming a psychiatrist, guitarist Lucas Coker has explored the depths of classical music theory, cognitive psychology, world religions, organic chemistry, jazz composition, human decision-making, mind-body philosophy, evolutionary genetics...  

It is this unique universal perspective that breathes life into his music.  

Lucas' music focuses on blending and balancing revered traditional jazz language, visceral classic rock riffing, hip-hop simplicity and vibes, and modern avant-garde exploration.

About Trevor Hill's Beyond Standard: 

Beyond Standard is a modern Jazz ensemble founded by group leader Trevor Hill with the goal of performing both the great traditional jazz standards crowds love and expect and covers of modern and non-traditional tunes that will have the whole crowd engaged. Beyond Standard gives new life to traditional tunes and standards from broadway, movies, and musicals while also experimenting with covers from TV and video games. Beyond Standard has performed at a variety of local indoor and outdoor venues including the downtown Wheaton Association events, and got their debut  performance at Fulton Street Collective and has had his hit single Turtle Beach Played on WDCB.Trevor Hill has co-produced three albums,Territorism,Pangaea Ultima, and has presented his own renditions of jazz standards and video game covers in his album Contemplanet. We are looking forward to sharing this incredible set with you.
