About: 

Alex Hoffer:

Powerful, unmistakable, vocals paired with a unique twist on an acoustic rock sound make Alex an artist that's easy to recognize and even harder to forget. His rhythmic approach to guitar playing might be the first thing you notice but, if you listen closer there are stories with pain and joy subtly baked into the fabric of every song.

Michael Rawls:

Michael Rawls is a Chicagoland  singer/songwriter and music instructor. He began playing piano and guitar at a very young age, and decided to pursue music as a full-time endeavor 5 years ago. Michael’s original music varies heavily in regards to genres and styles, with the main focus always being on the songwriting. He is heavily influenced by some of the greatest songwriters (John Prine, Jason Isbell, and Leonard Cohen to name a few).

Paolo Apuli:

Paolo Apuli is a singer-songwriter and guitarist from Chicago. Influenced by the golden era of music, blues, and soul, Paolo’s smooth vocals and guitar skills bring a timeless sound to audiences. 

Justine Ewald:

Justine is an acoustic guitar playing singer/songwriter who has been singing live for about 3 years. Since her early teens, her passion has always resided in poetry and songwriting— being able to channel and express the emotions of herself as well as those of another person. With a music taste across many genres, Justine believes that any song can be played acoustically… even Nickelback. 

JD Kostyk:

JD is a performing acoustic singer with great groove and strong versatility. He plays all throughout the Chicagoland area, performing originals and covers alike. JD not only performs for his career, he also fronts ls fundraisers and teaches music.

Zachary Sonny Edwards (MC/host):

Zachary "Sonny" Edwards is an original live Chicagoland musician and an event host, with a passion for bringing the best out of people while also bringing them together. He hopes for the Vulnerable Showcase to make a difference in the happiness and emotional health of all involved, as the chance to be truly vulnerable can be so hard to find. As is the tagline for his Vulnerable Showcase, he asks all to "stay vulnerable, my friends."

Stop by Epiphany for our live music series concerts, and be sure to hit Golden Hour before-hand for drinks and lite-bites! Doors open at 5pm Wednesday - Saturday for Golden Hour with 1/2 priced bottles of wine and other specials!
