The opening reception of Jonathan Ricci, Friday, February 3, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m in The Sacristy Gallery at Epiphany Center for the Arts. Through simplified contour shapes like silhouettes of birds, a cutout doll, a dress or an article of clothing, artist Jonathan Ricci’s work takes its forms from childhood images and memories of an innocence lost. In Cold/Heat Migration, the works are often symbolic portraits, a personal narrative of family and close friends.
