Join us in the Catacombs on Friday, May 5th from 6 to 9 p.m. for the opening reception of Renee Baker's solo exhibition Une ligue d'un: Black Testament.
In this exhibition, composer, music director, and artist Renée Baker showcases a surrealist view of the possibilities of black artistry. Une ligue d'un, which translates to “a league of one,” includes large paintings on paper, sculptures, and projected experimental films that create unexpected and dramatic entries into the audio-visual arena.
