“Cello for Peace”: Cellist, composer and vocalist Ian Maksin performs folk and pop songs in Ukrainian, Polish, French, Spanish and several other languages along with Ukrainian pianist and vocalist Sofi Fraser. He’ll also share original instrumental music from his 2021 album “The Alchemist” and unrecorded compositions. A portion of proceeds from the concert benefits For Wellbeing, a Chicago-based nonprofit working to deliver funds to Ukraine, and Ukrainian musician Taras Chubay, whose home and recording studio in Kyiv were destroyed by Russian forces. 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Epiphany Center for the Arts, 201 S.
