Aeron Maxwell
CHASING VISIONS IN HYPERSPACE

Guild Room

May 31 2024 to July 12, 2024

Aeron Maxwell’s art combines fantasy, futurism, and surrealism, exploring the subconscious connections to imagination and self-identity. A vibrant palette of luminous colors, patterns, and various textural techniques provide dramatic settings for a diverse menagerie of inventive forms and character embodiments. Elements of geometry, biomorphic shapes, and diatom-like abstraction are deeply rooted in Maxwell’s fascination with microbiology and science fiction. His work draws comparisons to Joan Miro's Harlequin’s Carnival, Abstract Pop-Surrealism, and the Imagist artists of Chicago's Hairy Who, while innovatively challenging the boundaries of artistic genres and art forms. Chasing Visions in Hyperspace reflects the ephemeral nature of creative ideas and Maxwell’s endeavor to manifest them as we step into the new Aquarian Age.

RSVP for the opening reception on Friday, May 31 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the link below:
