Freedom (2021)

Stoneware and Glass

22” x 11” x 10”

$2,800

ARTIST STATEMENT:

“Freedom” is a piece that was exhibited twice in Illinois. First exhibition was at the Gunder Mansion Gallery on November 9, 2022. An “Achievement Award Honorable Mention Award” was given by CAVA juror Sharon Bladholm. The second exhibition was 2023 at The Highland Park Art Center accepted by juror Indira Johnson from Chicago Sculpture International. “Freedom” represents my artistic journey. Sitting on a rock after bathing in the river symbolized that I finally declared that I am

“an artist” in a foreign land. Bare skin with colorful symbols of nature is my readiness to face my artistic journey by sharing.
