Epiphany Center for the Arts is located at 201 South Ashland Avenue in Chicago at the corner of Ashland and Adams. Here is a handy link to a Google Map
Via public transportation, we are:
- 0.5 miles south of the Ashland Pink/Green Line L train stops
- 0.4 miles northwest of the Racine Blue L train stop
- Closest to the #9 Ashland & Adams bus stop, #20 Madison & Ashland bus stop, #126 Van Buren & Ashland, and the Jackson & Laflin EXPRESS
Epiphany is a 21+ venue. Refer to individual shows or events for exceptions.
Attended parking is available in the parking garage located at 1608 W. Adams or 1640 w Jackson Blvd. In addition to ample metered spots surrounding the property.
We also recommended checking out the Spot Hero app for spaces nearby.

When you purchase a ticket, you will receive an online confirmation of your purchase sent to your email. Based on your ticket delivery method, you will receive your tickets online or for pick up at will call.
Valid, non-expired, government issued photo IDs are always required upon entry in the venue, and if you plan on purchasing and drinking alcohol, in accordance with Illinois state laws.
Our box office is open during show hours only. If you have questions outside of box office hours, please call 312-421-4600 extension 1. If the call is not answered, please leave a voicemail with a detailed message and a call back number, and our box office team will get back to you as soon as possible.

The box office and bars prefer the use of electronic payment (VISA, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover). Under certain circumstances, cash will be accepted, however it is not preferable.
Events will vary, please refer to your specific show or event. Although your ticket allows entry to a specific event, there are many public common areas throughout our campus that do not require a ticket purchase. We welcome both ticket holders and non-ticket holders to check out our whole campus! If your ticket purchase included drinks, you will receive your drink vouchers when you check in at the box office.
All sales are final. No refunds will be issued unless a show is cancelled, in which case ticket buyers will be informed by email per policy.

Lots! We have 3 performance spaces, 3 gallery spaces, multiple rooms devoted to arts education, and indoor and outdoor spaces. We even have an outdoor fire pit!

The location will be shown on your receipt when you buy a ticket online, and also when you arrive security and host teams will make sure you get to the right location.
It depends on the show and the room. But even if we have a standing room show, we are always happy to make reasonable accommodations if they are needed.
All seated shows are sold as general admission and are first come first serve based on entry into the venue in which the show is being held. Doors to each performance venue generally open 30 minutes prior to a show’s start time. We encourage you to arrive early to Explore and Discover Epiphany during Golden Hour
EPIPHANY’s campus is 100% ADA accessible and compliant. Epiphany shall make all efforts to accommodate written requests from its patrons to provide additional accommodations to meet specific needs and will do so upon receipt and notification of such request (see ticketing platform for further information).
Our venue is ADA compliant, and our hosts will be able to help with elevator use if necessary and help you find the best spot based on your ticket. All of our green rooms, restrooms, galleries and special event spaces are handicapped accessible. Our stages in Epiphany Hall and The Sanctuary can be made accessible to performers in need upon request.
The time listed on your ticket and on the purchase page of the website is the time doors open. Doors typically open an hour before show time. Please keep in mind that show times and set times, as well as opening acts, are always subject to change.
Our cafe and bar sells a selection of light snacks.
Nope, sorry. Illinois has an indoor smoking ban. However, most nights we will allow re-entry if you need to exit the venue to smoke.
This rule applies to old-fashioned cigarettes, e-cigs and cigars.
Still, nope, sorry. If you need to smoke you will need to exit the front of our facility and smoke at least 15 feet from our entrance.

We have an amazing full bar and cafe that is open 5 days per week. We also have a full bar outside of The Sanctuary, and pop up bars set up inside Epiphany Hall, the Catacombs and other special event spaces as needed.
It happens and yes, we do have a lost & found. Please send an email to info@epiphanychi.com or call us at 312-421-4600 extension 1 to see if we have it. Lost/left items will be held at the venue in our lost and found for up to 30 days.
You are welcome to pick up your card the next time you visit Epiphany Center for the Arts. The on-duty manager can assist you in retrieving your lost item. Please note that your card will be cashed out at the end of the evening and a 20% tip will be applied.
