I never took a watercolor painting class, except for one day at York Community High School in Elmhurst, Illinois; but had to drop it from my schedule due to overbooking. I always found watercolor paints and watercolor paper naturally delightful but never experimented much with them, yet listed the art as a hobby on employment applications. I’m much more of a lead-graphite-pencil illustrative person. I admittedly enjoyed taking the watercolor basics class and psycho-dynamically expressing myself.
Thresholds is Illinois’ oldest and largest non-profit agency serving people suffering from severe and persistent mental illness and substance use. Thresholds supports individuals through community outreach and integrated health opportunities.
