About Michelle Stone
Michelle Stone's paintings and sculptures, whether abstract or explicit, portray themes of conflict, adaptation, and the interconnectedness of creature and habitat. Her work has been described as “brazenly personal”. She has exhibited her work nationally at venues including Ceres Gallery, Lazy Susan Gallery, and The Painting Center, in New York, and Ignition Projects, The Spertus Institute, and Illinois State Museum, in Chicago. She lives and works between Chicago and NYC, has a studio at Greenleaf Art Center, is a member of Dialogue Chicago, Ceres Gallery, and NY Artists Circle.
