This work was created in collaboration with a performance artist, who choreographed a prayer-dance. Each gesture was recorded and translated onto the canvas, echoing the reverent, sometimes strained motions of worship. I spent most of my life within The Church, where faith shaped me—but also confined me. Religious motifs still surface in my work, not out of devotion, but from a need to process and reframe a past marked by the ache of unanswered questions.
