About Woes

Aaron ‘Woes’ Martin is an American artist, originally from the Hawaiian island of Oahu. His artistic focus is mainly based around very detailed images of Pandas that seem to be under some kind of emotional stress by using mediums consisting of but are not limited to acrylic paintings on wood and canvas with vibrant colours. Woes’ works are featured in the URBAN NATION 2018 exhibition, ‘UN-DERSTAND The Power of Art as a Social Architect’.

With a history in art that spans back to the late 1990’s his earliest experiences in the graffiti scene as a kid growing up in Southern California and Las Vegas. In 2009, Woes picked up a can to paint out in public beginning with his iconic Panda characters to leave his moniker in different cities across the globe. Aaron has worked with giants with the likes of Mind Style, Disney, Kidrobot and New Era, he has also been published in magazines in the US, Japan & Europe. Aaron also has gone so far to have contributed to the youth by giving lectures at a few schools around the US and has even spoken at universities despite not having any formal education himself.
