About One Earth Film Festival:

Doors open at 5:00 for snacks/refreshments before start time.
Arrive early to talk with action partners, avoid lines, and get the best seats.

Tickets will be $20 for the View and Brew which includes the "Manufactured River" art exhibit by Lindsay Olson and artist talk, as well as Ander Zanichowsky's burial blankets exhibit. You are able to order food + drinks starting at 5:00 PM. Lastly, of course with our film screening we will have facilitated discussion with experts.

FILM DESCRIPTION: BAD RIVER, narrated by Quannah ChasingHorse and Academy-Award nominee, Edward Norton; written and directed by award-winning filmmaker, Mary Mazzio; and produced by Grant Hill (Owner of the Atlanta Hawks) and Allison Abner (writer for NarcosWest Wing and descendant of the Stockbridge Munsee Band), is a new documentary film which chronicles the Wisconsin-based Bad River Band and its ongoing fight for sovereignty, a story which unfolds in a groundbreaking way through a series of shocking revelations, devastating losses, and a powerful legacy of defiance and resilience, which includes a David vs. Goliath battle to save Lake Superior, the largest freshwater resource in America. As Eldred Corbine, a Bad River Tribal Elder declares: “We gotta protect it… die for it, if we have to.”

We will also be screening one of the YFC winning films The Kiribati Project by Loyola University Chicago Students Michael Rogowski, Taylor Zielenbach, Robert Kennedy, and Sanjay Numbiar.
