About:
"[Tatum Langley is] an actual songbird with a voice so magical it will give you goosebumps. If you get a chance to see her live, do it. I assure you, you won't be disappointed." -Ken Churilla, Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra.
An amalgamation of musical influences, Tatum Langley is a Chicago-born, raised, and based vocalist & performer specializing in jazz & musical theatre styles. With mesmerizing vocal agility, captivating stage presence, and a voice that is certainly larger than her small build may suggest, Tatum has charmed the audiences of cozy jazz clubs & intimate cabaret venues, as well as shaken the rafters of internationally-renowned performance spaces across the globe such as The Sydney Opera House, Royal Albert Hall, The London Palladium, and Massey Hall. She regularly records & tours globally with musical sensation “Postmodern Jukebox”, amassing millions of views online, and sings with some of Chicago’s top swing bands & musicians. She regularly performs shows of her own around Chicago at venues such as The Drake Hotel's Coq d'Or supper club series, Winter’s Jazz Club, and Andy’s Jazz Club. She has her BFA in Musical Theatre from Ball State University, and has numerous professional theatre credits under her belt, ranging from Shakespeare, to contemporary & Golden Age musical theatre, to large-scale original theme park production shows. She believes that telling a story & connecting with others through performance is a necessary healing force in this world, allowing us to learn from & understand one another better
