About Manasseh:

Manasseh, a native of Chicago’s south side, has always possessed the gift of music which started with his mother, who herself was a vocalist. Singing in the church choir from childhood into his young-adulthood, would also serve as a part of the foreground for his musical approach.

He is currently working as a vocal/session coach, background vocalists and songwriter - in which he lends his assistance and talents to a variety of fellow artists. He has performed at a number of venues, including the world- famous Museum of Science and Industry and the MCA. Manasseh has also been featured in articles by Chicago Tribune, Earmilk, Ambient Vibez- and most recently WTTW, Audiotree and Vocalo Radio. His song, aptly titled Inches, was featured on Tyler Perry’s “Sistas”, Season 2, Ep 4. He also toured with Grammy nominated artist, Marquis Hill in 2024.

Manasseh has become the “go-to guy” for session/ vocal coaching, writing, and arranging. His highly anticipated album, Monochromatic Dream, was released on March 29th, 2022, and was followed by a succession of EPs, “Variations V1- I’ll Be”-was released on February 28, 2023. Manasseh is currently working on an R&B album, “R&B(eyond)”. The first single, “Old-Time Sake”, was released May 2nd, 2025 on Bandcamp and worldwide on May 9th.

About Melvin Knight:

Melvin Knight (1974-2006), was a prolific self produced singer and songwriter in the early 2000’s. Melvin was tragically betrayed and killed in a dispute over ownership of his masters. His heirs (Moesha, Donavan, and Marvin), work tirelessly to release their late father’s work into the world to preserve his legacy.
