About:

Beaph is a Chicago-based duo comprised of Vocalist Bunga (Bea) Fuadin and guitarist Stephen Ryan. Bunga’s RnB background meets Stephen’s jazz-folk guitar playing to create a soft blend for their music. They created Beaph, a combination of both Stephen’s name and Bunga’s nickname “Bea”, while attending Columbia College Chicago in 2023. After being assigned to be in a guitar/vocal duo together, they’ve continued to write, record, and perform their original songs. Although they often play as a duo, they sometimes appear with a band featuring bassist Dante Nottoli, drummer Will Penne, and pianist Miles Pretel.

You can find them around the Chicago area performing their originals as well as their arrangements of various covers ranging from genres such as classic soul, jazz, rnb, pop, and country. They have also released an album named “Beaph and Friends: Live”, a live album from their joint senior recitals which includes features from their friends and paints the picture of their musical journeys as well as their love for one another.
