Ear Taxi Festival is coming back to Chicago, free and bigger and bolder than before

Its theme, “Hear Chicago,” exhorts audiences to explore their city through myriad sounds, and, in executive and artistic director Jennie Oh Brown’s words, “break down silos” of genre which aesthetically and racially segregate the new music scene.

The exhibit will be staged at the Epiphany Center for the Arts, 201 S. Ashland Ave., with a new opening date of Aug. 7 (rescheduled from July 1).
