Chicago's own Cerqua Rivera Dance Theatre returns to Epiphany Center with their innovative Inside/Out series - this time unpacking the new work IMMENSE WORLD by choreographer Shannon Alvis and composer Joe Cerqua.

Join this unique company in an exploration of our human sensory awareness of the world. In this first year developing IMMENSE WORLD, the company is rooting its research in the rich and complicated heritage of the land where we live and contemplating our personal connections to nature in pastoral environments. Come "inside" this company and join the discourse about protecting and understanding each other and our environment. 

Inside/Out is Cerqua Rivera's interactive event series that invites you INSIDE the creative process for their timely, multidisciplinary art and the multicultural company that makes it. You'll not only experience performance of the work in progress in an intimate and informal setting, you'll also get a taste for this special company's collaborative process through conversation, improvisation and audience participation activities.
