About Luke Polipnick:

Luke Polipnick is an award winning multi-instrumentalist and composer, and somewhat recent Chicago transplant. Since moving here in 2020 he has quickly established himself as a formidable force within the creative music community. He was worked with global icons in the jazz, improvised music, metal, folk, world music, and soul communities. Lean Years is his first project as a singer-songwriter, and explores themes of collapse, class struggle, personal loss, and hope for a better future. It is equal parts narrative art rock/americana and ripping post modern jazz, and features an ensemble of visionary Chicago artists.
