About Lydia Cash:

Lydia Cash writes candidly about her life, forging songs as beacons of authenticity in which she reveals the innermost workings of her heart’s loves and losses. Her delicate melodies woven with alt-rock angst showcase this native Alabamian/Chicago transplant’s dichotomy of grit and sweetness.

Cash’s upcoming full-length album, “Violet,” is slated for release this fall.

About Rachel Swain:

Rachel Swain doesn’t mind when people two-step to her pain. In fact, she welcomes it. Her hallmark sound blends infectious melodies with lyrics that explore a wide emotional range of human experience. Over the past 20 years, Rachel Swain has captivated audiences across genres with her powerful voice, rich songwriting, and deeply honest music. Born and raised in Austin, Texas, later moving to Houston, she developed a passion for music from a young age; Swain frequently watched her parents perform in various nightclubs around Houston. After her family relocated to Chicago where she is still based, she began to cut her teeth as a performer and songwriter, learning to play the fiddle, guitar, and bass and playing in projects from indie rock to 60s French pop. Raised on rodeo and rock and roll, her musical influences span country, bluegrass, Americana, and soul. Swain's music is honest, soulful, and steeped in her Texas roots. Her work has been namedPerformer Magazine’s April 2014 Vinyl of the Month, was featured by Fred Mills of Spin and Blurt Magazine on Blurt Online, and made Walt Falconer’s of The Falcon’s Nest,Top-10 Records of 2014 list. She has notably played the American Music Festival and the Cosmic Songwriter, sharing the stage with Nikki Lane and Sierra Hull.
