About:
Step into one of Chicago’s most beautiful hidden gems for an intimate evening of piano music that goes far beyond the expected.
Pianist Olga Ridgway invites you on a journey through passion, imagination, and storytelling at the stunning Epiphany Center for the Arts. Whether you’re a lifelong lover of classical music or simply curious for a unique night out, this concert is designed to draw you in, surprise you, and leave you inspired.
The program pairs two extraordinary works:
Johann Sebastian Bach — Partita No. 6 in E minor
A powerful and deeply expressive masterpiece — intricate, emotional, and quietly mesmerizing.
Robert Schumann — Carnaval, Op. 9
A vivid musical story filled with playful characters, romance, humor, and drama — almost like a theatrical performance told entirely through music.
An internationally acclaimed pianist, Olga has performed across Europe and the United States, with appearances at venues including the Chicago Cultural Center, the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., Merkin Hall in New York City, and Carnegie Hall. Known for her expressive depth and captivating stage presence, she brings warmth and humanity to every performance.
Originally from Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Olga’s musical journey has taken her from Europe to Chicago, where she now serves on the piano faculty at the Music Institute of Chicago.
But this evening is not about credentials — it’s about connection.
Set inside the breathtaking, candlelit atmosphere of Epiphany Center, this is a rare chance to experience world-class piano up close — where every note, every nuance, and every emotion is felt just a little more deeply.
Come for the music. Stay for the experience.
