About Smooth Rogers:
Smooth Rogers is the brainchild of Chicago-based musician, Zac Bron. Combining elements of alt-rock, synth-pop, and funk, Smooth Rogers takes you on a journey through lush soundscapes and danceable grooves. Zac grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan, moved to Chicago in 2018, and quickly became involved in the music scene there. After playing in various bands and leading other solo projects, the idea to start Smooth Rogers came about in 2021. Since then, Zac has released two albums, with a third on the way, set to release in the fall of 2025. While Zac is the primary songwriter and instrumentalist in the studio, they are joined by a group of musicians at their shows that take the songs into new sonic territory.
About SJOD:
SJOD is an electronic musician, bandleader, cofounder of Truth Zone Records and the self-proclaimed preeminent livetronica jam-adjacent dark horse of Chicago. SJOD makes high energy, varying genre, and improvised electronic music with all live analog & digital hardware. No laptop, just hardware creating original electronic music and experimental performances. Inspired by Sun Ra, Aphex Twin, and the genre of trance-fusion, SJOD performances are communions to another realm and prayers to various celestial entities.
About Semi-Cycle:
Semi-Cycle is the musical world of producer, instrumentalist and singer Kristofer Hansen. Shaped by the diverse sonic landscapes of Chicago, New Orleans and beyond, Semi-Cycle is a constantly morphing entity that takes on different forms as time goes on. Their 2024 Momentum EP is heavily inspired by uptempo dance music, namely jungle and drum and bass, while pulling from house, soul, and hip-hop as well. Semi-Cycle wants to immerse you in an electric blanket of sound, warming you up, keeping you cozy, and energizing your spirit for all things scary and beautiful on life's dancefloor.
