For the second year in a row, The Mambo Revival is honored to host the Official Pre-Party for the 25th Anniversary Chicago International Salsa Congress. On January 24th, we’re transforming the stunning Epiphany Center for the Arts into Noche Romántica — an unforgettable celebration of classic 90s salsa romántica and Chicago’s vibrant Latin dance culture.

If you grew up listening to artists like Jerry Rivera, Frankie Ruiz, Tito Nieves, Eddie Santiago, and Lalo Rodríguez, this night is for you. We’re flying in Junior Rivera y su Orquesta for a two-hour live concert bringing these timeless romántica hits to life on stage — the soundtrack of an entire generation performed with the richness and emotion they deserve.

The night also features debut performances from some of Chicago’s top dance teams, plus multiple DJs spinning salsa and cha cha to keep the floor alive from start to finish.

We’ll be hosting the Finals of the 2026 Best Social Dancer Competition, where one couple will be crowned the Mambo Revival Champions and advance to compete at CISC’s opening night. As a special thank you, we will also be giving away two night passes to the 2026 Chicago International Salsa Congress during the event.

Whether you're a lifelong salsa lover or discovering this world for the first time, Noche Romántica is one of Chicago’s most exciting cultural nights of the year — live music, incredible dancers, and an atmosphere you won’t forget.
