About:

Pianist and composer Amy Wurtz is dedicated to shining a spotlight on music written by women both today and from centuries past.  Her 31-day Women's History Month, which began in 2023, can be found on YouTube, with a new video for each day of March.  Women's History Month 2025 marks a partnership with New York Women Composers and features composers from New York alongside Chicago-based composers as well as composers from the past.  The Closing Concert features audience favorites from the 31 days of music by women.  You can participate by helping choose the program!  More information at https://www.amywurtz.com/about-4
