About Attack the Sound:

Attack the Sound (ATS) is a Chicago-based band pioneering Chi-Pop, a modern blend of indie soul and pop shaped by jazz, hip-hop, gospel, blues, and alternative rock. Led by Army veteran and Chicago firefighter Davo Sounds, the group is known for cinematic songwriting and powerful live shows.

Their breakout track “FADIYA” leads their catalog in streams and playlist placements, fueling strong growth across Spotify and YouTube alongside songs like “Wake Up Call” and “Don’t String Me Along.” ATS now holds its largest audiences in Chicago and Mexico City, forming a unique cross-border fanbase in the indie-soul space.

The band has appeared on ABC’s Windy City Live and WGN’s People to People, and their single “Love Is War” earned major recognition at the Midwest Film Festival and international showcases.

About D2G:

Chicago Hip-Hop Props Award-Winner Anthony Di’Angelo Ingram, Jr., or “D2G” as he’s called in the Hip-Hop scene, is a laborer in music all around. Growing up on the southeast side of Chicago, 2G would always relate any life situation to a song that would describe his emotion at the time. Inspired by artists like Rakim, KRS-One, and Slick Rick, he began writing at age 11 and would later transform his writings into songs. Graduating from Hyde Park Academy in 2005, he would find himself enrolled in Columbia College Chicago, where he became fascinated by the artistic environment. This atmosphere would later introduce 2G to various artists and producers.

A focused emcee in his own right, D2G seeks to bring glory back to his hometown of Chicago and earn his rightful place among hip-hop’s elite. Since releasing his first solo project in 2011, The Blood Diamond Tape, and his first album in 2013, July 9th: A Cancer Story, D2G has been performing and promoting his music across the country. After releasing his critically acclaimed sophomore effort, Short Summers Long Winters, in 2015, D2G won the Chicago Props Award for Best Male Emcee and went on to release collaborative projects with Chicago legend Tony Baines entitled The First Hot Day EP and The Next Hot Day. In 2026, D2G teamed up with Ife Senoj to create the duo Feb. 15TH and released their collaborative debut, The Day After Vol. 1. The emcee is currently preparing to release new solo music this year and continue to maintain his reputation as a live show staple.
