About:

What happens when a clash of different cultures, sounds, and artistic visions come together to create something bigger than themselves? You get a movement known as COLLECTIVE VIEW!! More than just a music group, COLLECTIVE VIEW is a Chicago-based collective made up of artists, producers, photographers, videographers, designers, and creatives who all share one mission: elevate the culture through creativity, originality, and collaboration. By blending different lifestyles, backgrounds, and perspectives, CV has created a true hive mind where every member contributes to a larger vision.

At the center of the movement is VAN KHAN, the leader and engine that drives COLLECTIVE VIEW forward. Known for his sharp lyricism, versatility, and nonstop work ethic, VAN KHAN has become one of the defining voices of the collective. While rap is his primary lane, his ability to cross into melodic and pop-inspired sounds earned him the nickname “the pop boy.” Projects like Bad for the BrandBlack Smosh featuring Dockend, and The Tele Boys Tape with Dockend and B.Donn continue to showcase his creativity and leadership.

Another standout member is Dockend, often described as the “Swiss Army knife” of CV because of his ability to seamlessly rap and sing. His unique style and unmatched lyrical creativity make him one of the most versatile artists in the collective. His standout hit Abosh!perfectly captures his experimental energy, blending charisma, humor, and unforgettable delivery.

Behind the sound of COLLECTIVE VIEW are producers and artists like Dia and Zavi. Dia brings emotion and poetry to the group through his smooth mix of R&B and melodic rap, producing records like CV Up while releasing songs such as Twinski and Bad Friends. Zavi complements that sound with dark, underground-inspired production and versatile beat-making heard on tracks like Abosh! and The Villians.

Starboy Uni has emerged as one of the collective’s key melodic voices, blending trap-inspired energy with emotional storytelling and catchy hooks. Tracks like Soul Tie highlight his ability to create music that feels personal while still delivering undeniable star power. His sound adds emotion, atmosphere, and replay value to the CV catalog.

Another essential pillar of the collective is Benzo, whose impact stretches beyond being an artist. As both an engineer and bilingual rapper, Benzo brings a unique international flavor to the group’s sound. Songs like Green showcase his ability to transition effortlessly between melodic flows and sharp bars, making him a major creative force within CV.

Artists like B.Donn and Trev00 continue to push the collective’s range even further. B.Donn’s emotional R&B vocals on songs like Stay Aroundand No Morals showcase his versatility and soulful presence, while Trev00’s aggressive drill and trap style on tracks like Ignorant from his debut project Kha00s brings raw intensity and fearless energy to the movement.

Behind the scenes, creatives like Chris, Felix, Socon, Arely, Evelyn, Neph, Ant, and Zach help bring the vision to life through visuals, production, management, design, promotion, and live instrumentation. Together, COLLECTIVE VIEW proves it is more than a collective — it is a family, a movement, and a creative force dedicated to pushing culture forward.
