About Anne & Mark:
Anne Burnell and Mark Burnell are award winning Chicago performers known for innovative vocal jazz arrangements paired with the immediacy and intimacy of cabaret-style storytelling. Blending the Great American Songbook, jazz standards, vintage pop, and original music, their performances combine sophisticated musicianship with audience connection.
After receiving his music degrees, Mark taught music at Carnegie Mellon, spent 20+ years playing gospel at Gorham United Methodist, and currently has a residency at Tortoise Supper Club on Saturdays. Anne is a singer-songwriter, recording artist, and fitness professional.
About Dave Asher:
Dave Asher is a Chicago-based musician with 25 years of experience in improvised performance. He performed with Boom Chicago in Amsterdam, spent 15 years as Music Director of the iO Theater, and currently serves as Music Director of BABS Comedy Club.
