About:

Casey describes herself as a sensitive river girlie, country-folk musician, and storyteller. She grew up in Illinois, and has found a home in Westerly, RI. "You'll Be Okay" and "Casey's Song" are streaming on Spotify and Apple music. Her full catalog of music so far is available on Bandcamp. She is currently working on her debut album inspired by her obsession with all things water, love and the little irksome, yet nostalgic, things in life, called qualms. Her old time and effortless vocals captivate audiences, tackling heartbreak and nostalgia with an americana sound.

Casey plays and sings with several groups in Westerly, RI, including a house band at High Hope Tavern that plays Sunday nights. She also is in a duo-project with her partner, Shane Patrick. Inspired by the music of Melanie, Janis Joplin, and Alanis Morissette, she brings her own voice to the songs she loves to perform.

Rivers has opened up for major acts including Hayley Jane, Ryan Montbleau, and Will Evans at the Snow Moon Festival; her song “You’ll Be Okay” recently made it to the top 15 out of 845 applications for the Levitate Festival Songwriter’s Showcase. She’s performed at events and benefits for the Blackstone River, the Wequetequock Cove Clean Water Coalition, and several Earth Day celebrations.
