About Mingus W.:
Mingus W. is a shepherd into a new era of Vaudeville performers. Already, there are rumblings from tastemakers, prophesiers, and vloggers as to the catastrophic effect that this act is guaranteed to have on the current taste in independent music. Radiohead will be rendered useless. By somehow morphing sleight of hand into an aural experience, Mingus has bridged the rift between seeing and believing. Prepare to be amazed!
You are about to become involved with Mingus!
About Prairie Scout:
Prairie Scout is the solo project of Chicago singer-songwriter Natalie Ingalls. Previously backed by a rock band in Bloomington, IN, Prairie Scout has become more intimate in sound but no less collaborative, with an upcoming EP recorded at Palisade Studios with the help of friends from Westhead, Tragic Heroine, The Matriarch, Good Eve, Brick Lancaster, Exit Slip Studios and more. Influenced by the likes of Vashti Bunyan, Mirah and The Roches, as well as science fiction stories, the resulting project is a Broadcast-tinged exploration of anxieties existential and mundane, from the moon decaying to awkward encounters with high school friends. Prairie Scout’s debut record “What’s Ahead Is Behind Me” was released through the Hum Drum Press in early 2025.
