Sinatra ’56 — Songs for Swingin’ Lovers is the third chapter in Gary Thomas’s trilogy of cabaret concerts celebrating Frank Sinatra’s remarkable Capitol-era comeback—and the moment he hit his full, swaggering stride. Performed by Gary Thomas and The Mid-Century Modern Ensemble, the show is built around Sinatra’s landmark 1956 album Songs for Swingin’ Lovers and features its sparkling essentials alongside a handpicked set of Sinatra favorites—romantic, witty, and irresistibly swinging. Woven together with smart, engaging storytelling, the evening is stylish, funny, and full of heart. Sinatra ’56 brings mid-century sophistication to life and invites audiences to raise a glass to timeless songs, world-class swing, and the voice that made it all unforgettable.
