And yet that voice shapes what you expect, what you do, and what you think is possible.
On October 25, Chicago writer Case Kenny is coming home to Chicago for a live writing workshop on how to better talk to yourself — and show up with more confidence, hope, and openness in the relationships and communities you’re building.
Case Kenny is an author, speaker, and Chief Optimist at Optimism.com, followed by more than 1.5 million people for his work on mindset and optimism. He is the author of the upcoming book The Language of Optimism.
The idea is simple: optimism is something you can practice. And it starts with the words you use every day.
So we’re bringing his signature workshop to Chicago, for a room of community builders, immigrants, creatives, and people figuring out what comes next.
You’ll get a red pen and blank paper at the door. Case will teach, pause throughout for you to write, and invite you to share and reflect with the people around you. Then we’ll open it up for a 30-minute Q&A before sticking around for a reception.
