About:

The Martin Metzger Flamenco Jazz Ensemble, comprising Martin Metzger on flamenco guitar, Rie Katayama on flamenco dance, Marfil Keller Aleman on flamenco voice and dance, Juan Pastor on flamenco percussion, and Hana Fujisaki on piano, has dedicated countless trips to Spain to preserve and bring back the art form’s virtuosity, passion, and spirit. Their performance is a visual and auditory delight, showcasing dynamic interplay that makes flamenco truly an international art form.

In addition to traditional Flamenco Palos, the trio explores music that draws from a wide range of traditions, including Brazilian jazz, Afro-Cuban jazz, and Flamenco-jazz; standards and original compositions.
